SUMMARY:Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
DESCRIPTION:We are planning a trip for the Marathon Garden Club. Dale Chihuly has his fabulous glasswork installed throughout many of the garden exhibits\, including the Rain Forest\, Palm Collection\, Bailey Palm Glade Vista and the new Wings Tropics exhibit\, where they will be surrounded by hundreds of colorful and exotic butterflies. Also\, Indian designer\, Satyendra Pakhale\, will be exhibiting 40 fish chairs in the gardens. We have reserved a bus for this adventure and it holds 32 people so first come will reserve you a seat. Please feel free to invite friends also. Date: February 13\, 2015 Cost per person: $55.00 (Includes bus and a 45 minute narrated tram tour.) Lunch is on your own. There are a couple of sandwich buffets and a café on the grounds for your convenience. Deadline to register will be: February 2\, 2015.
