DESCRIPTION:We are very excited about our first speaker for this season\, Liah Continentino. Liah is the Environmental Horticulture Agent and Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator for UF/IFAS Extension Monroe County. She will be speaking on pollinator gardening and particularly sharing with us pollinator garden design strategies. Her presentation will include pollinator ecology\, and information regarding threats to pollinator populations. This is a talk that you don’t want to miss. \nl.continentino@ufl.edu \n*Crane Point will be at our October membership meeting. Honey from the Crane Bees Pollination Center will be available for tasting and for purchase. Plan to sample delicious honey produced by Honeybees that are working hard next door at Crane Point Hammock.
