Beginner Monarch Butterfly Clinic

On Monday, November 8th, 2021 at 10 AM, MGC will hold a BEGINNER Monarch Butterfly Clinic. This clinic is designed to introduce the plight of Monarch butterflies and how you can assist these beautiful creatures in their annual migration journey. You will learn what 20 plants are needed in your Monarch garden. Tips and techniques, learned in the beginner clinic, serves as the foundation for you to take a deeper dive should you decide to take the follow-on Advanced Monarch clinic. This Beginner Monarch clinic was previously presented in the Spring of 2021.
Topics include:
• Why are Monarch populations diminishing?
• Components of a Monarch Garden Waystation
• Monarch Lifecycle and how you can help improve their survival rate
• Monarch migration through the Florida Keys and north/south
• MGC Certification Program
This one-hour program, for a maximum of 20 attendees, is scheduled to be held at the MGC Club house and is OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY.
A selection of Monarch friendly plants will be available to purchase before and after the clinic.
