Advanced Monarch Butterfly Clinic

On Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at 10 AM, MGC will hold its first ADVANCED Monarch Butterfly Clinic. This clinic is designed to provide a deeper dive into the art of raising Monarch butterflies and is a follow-on from the MGC Beginners Monarch clinics offered in the Spring of 2021.
Topics include:
- How to deal with “OE” disease (harmful to the monarch)
- Selection and care of milkweed
- Hornets, the nemesis of the monarch caterpillar
- Do I need to cage my monarch caterpillars?
- Tips for successfully caring for Monarchs
This one-hour program, for a maximum of 20 attendees, is scheduled to be held at the MGC Club house and is OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY.
A selection of Monarch friendly plants will be available to purchase before and after the clinic.
