Dolphin Research Center, on Grassy Key, was recently awarded the White Heron Award by the Marathon Garden Club! This traveling award is presented throughout the year to area businesses that participate in beautification projects on properties located along the US1 corridor between Conch Key and the Seven Mile Bridge. Dolphin Research Center (DRC) worked with Gonzalez Brothers landscaping to improve the landscape & appearance of their main entrance and parking lot. Judy Shaw, Master Gardener & member of the Marathon Garden Club, presented the award to Armando “Mandy” Rodriguez DRC’s Co-Founder and Chief operating Officer.
